BEECHARMER

CURRENT PROJECTS

Beecharmer (formerly The Blackberry Bushes Stringband) is the longtime collaboration between Jes Raymond and fiddler/upright bassist Jakob Breitbach. Ten years of international touring distilled into a sound that is part festival and part mountain top. Skillful flatpicking, clawhammer banjo, virtuosic fiddle, upright bass, time polished harmonies and award winning songwriting are combined with elements of bluegrass, old-time, jazz and pop.

With grants From The Vermont Arts Council and The National Endowment for the Arts, These Mountains Sing assembled 25 Vermont artists to perform Jes’s original composition “Together” .
